As a peds nurse and mom, I've used other topical anesthetics. Compared to others, this is a very effective cream. I used this cream for inset bites I've had. I live in the Deep South and mosquitoes are a pain. We can't really enjoy a day outside without the possibility of getting bit. I had a few bites on my legs and decided to give this cream a try. It takes about 15 minutes to numb the skin. After 15 minutes, the bites were not stinging at all. This did a great job to neutralize the pain. I was highly impressed with the effectiveness. This is a nice cream to have on hand. It's works pretty quickly and lasts a long time. I also like that the shelf life for this cream is 3 years. That's unbeatable.
