This huge play mat measures at 70 x 29 inches. It has 24 keys and uses 4 AA batteries. I was surprised at how large this mat is. It rolls out nicely and is thick & sturdy. It's made of a heavy duty vinyl that won't tear easily. It's easy to use. There are 4 modes (play, record, demo and playback). It has 8 musical instrument sounds to choose from (Guitar, Piano, Clarinet, Trumpet, Saxophone, Violin, Banjo, and Xylophone). It's easy to change modes as well as instruments. My kids are going to love it!! It has an adjustable volume which will be nice for me. My husband and I tried it out & loved it!! The keys are very responsive and the sound is really nice.
