I've had a chance to review the Ultra Bright LED Headlamp that I received for free in return for my unbiased opinion. This is a lightweight headlamp with an adjustable band that fits easily around your head. My husband has gotten the most use out of this headlamp, both at work and at home. He really likes how lightweight it is. If he wears a cap, it still fits on easily. The fit is comfortable and flexible. It's made from military-grade materials and seems to be pretty durable. It has two basic light modes-a distance mode (in which the two side lights are lit) and a floodlight mode (in which the middle light is lit). The lights are very bright- at it's highest intensity, the distance mode illuminates up to 40 meters (130 feet). There a control button that's easily accessible on the top of the light that allows you to not only turn it on/off, but also allows you to toggle between the different modes. You can also gradually dim the light using the button. Powered by 3 AAA batteries, they are easy to install ( batteries are not included in purchase). This is definitely a great buy for so many different activities-- hiking, camping, reading, running, walking, biking, home improvement...... the list goes on and on.
