Both are made of a very strong and durable bamboo. The whisk is a traditional whisk taht is handcrafted. The whisk works great for mixing matcha tea. It's comfortable and fun to use. It leaves the tea frothy and lump free. My friends have seen me use this whisk to make matcha tea. They are amazed by the appearance of this whisk.
