US Art Supply® Medium Wooden Box Artist Easel is a very sturdy easel. It's a French Easel design and is made of hand-sanded aged beechwood. It's oil finished with brass hardware. My son loves this easel. It has a divided interior with 4 compartments. He can store his paper, pencils, markers, paint, brushes, etc. easily in this easel. It has two locking clasps that hold really well. It also has a leather handle that makes it easy for him to carry this easel around. My son has enjoyed propping his sketch pad and creating his 'masterpieces'. He loves to carry it with him when he visits his grandparents.  This easel makes it easy to take all of his supplies with him. Overall, this is a sturdy, well-made easel.
