These are made of a very durable paintable plastic. They are molded and fit perfectly into my outlets. They are easy to install and require no tools (which is a PLUS for me). I love that they are paintable. This is perfect for blending them in with the room decor. Between my kids and grandkids, this is a GREAT safety feature. They cover plugs perfectly. They were easy to paint and they're not difficult to remove. My daughter has looked at them but she can't get them off. This is the perfect set of outlet covers.
