Khortytsa Vodka is recognized as one of the world’s leading vodkas, but is still a relative newcomer to the American market, imported to the United States by Global Spirits USA. Although new to the US market, the Khortytsa Distillery is well known globally. In fact, it was named among the world’s best distilleries at the 2014 New York International Spirits Competition (NYISC). Only 19 of the world’s leading distilleries were recognized with this high honor. First of all, these are really nice bottles of vodka. Before the taste, the appearance of the bottles are definitely eye-catchy. I received Khortytsa Platinum, De Luxe, Ice and Honey Hot Pepper vodkas.
Khortytsa Platinum is created by applying silver and platinum filtration technology. It contains succinic acid which ensures perfect balance of vodka taste and all components. This is a really smooth tasting vodka. I am more of a soft drinker and this is perfect for me. It tastes great in cocktails and it doesn't have an ovewhelming alcohol taste.
Khortytsa De Luxe is a premium organic vodka. It's a high end vodka whose recipe is based on grain ethanol and the purest water. My husband really likes this vodka. It's a stronger flavor and is great as a stand alone drink or as a mixed drink. It goes down easily and has a soft aftertaste.
Khortytsa Ice is a really cool vodka. It has an aromatic mint, lime and methol flavor. It comes in a unique bottle that changes its color when cooled. Not only is the bottle nice, the vodka has a nice, smooth taste. This vodka has a subtle floral flavor and is great with many different cocktails.
Khortytsa Honey Hot Pepper is a very unique vodka. This is vodka with the right kick. It comes with a red pepper in the bottle. It combines green mint, hot pepper and lime honey. This tasteful twist gives this vodka a 'pop'. It's not too hot and goes down smoothly. It's the perfect blend for cold nights and football. Makes a really nice Bloody Mary.
