I had the opportunity to receive The Rhythm Tree Autism & Special Needs DVD, CD and Music Kit in return for my unbiased review. I am a pediatric nurse and a mother to a special needs little boy. He was born at 27 weeks and has Short Bowel Syndrome. He is developmentally delayed and although we receive speech and physical therapy, I was looking for creative activities that I could do at home to help with his development. I was very excited to receive this kit. The Rhythm Tree Autism & Special Needs DVD, CD and Music Kit is a 56-minute DVD with 9 fun and educational songs to help children reach developmental goals in an enjoyable and motivating way. Also included with this kit is a CD and 3 sets of instruments. There is a guide book that helps the caregiver with using this kit for developmental play. We have really enjoyed this kit. My kids love music and with this kit, I can get everyone involved. My son has really enjoyed the interaction with his siblings and loves the songs & the instruments. This kit provides great play time that also helps to stimulate sensory skills as well as interaction skills. Although my son is not quite talking yet, he definitely expresses himself while we're using this kit. I highly recommend this for anyone who works with or has special needs children. Great kit!!
