It's a fixed spiral design with a 4" chrome face and 6 settings. It has a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute. This is a very sturdy showerhead. It's easy to install-- took my husband a few minuted to switch it out with the old showerhead. It has 6 settings including a water-saving option, full spray, pulsating spray and light spray. We placed this showerhead in the boys' bathroom. It's a very powerful showerhead and is much better quality than our previous one. This showerhead is rustproof and corrosion proof. It looks great when installed. Overall, a high quality showerhead at a very nice price.
