It's made of a very durable ABS plastic that is non-toxic and larger than legos, reducing the choking hazard. This set comes with a handy booklet that has a huge variety of different toys to make with these blocks. The blocks snap together easily and can be taken apart just as easily. They are colorful and provide hours of fun. My 9 and 4 year old boys have really enjoyed playing with this set. Other than fussing over blocks, they have had a great time using their imagination to make so many different figures. I love that this is a great alternative to video games and tablets. They have to use hand-eye coordination and this helps them to develop cognitive, creative and motor skills. Overall, a very durable, sturdy and just fun playset.
